The costumes are full fledged fun and there’s a story that carries the night along. Knights on horseback give this place such an authentic feel. It was so cool to see metal weapons striking each other and giving off sparks as the audience roared. I’m not much into violence but these carefully crafted sequences were filled with showmanship and felt like an awesome performance. The highlight of the show for me was watching the knights fight with super cool/scary weapons. Adult beverages are also available for an additional cost. I had Pepsi with my meal and coffee with dessert. It was actually fun! I liked the pacing of the meal as one thing came out at a time.

The meal is like an authentic 11th century feast and the show includes jousting, fighting with medieval weapons, horses and more. Being called “my lady” regularly at Medieval Times ( and even on their social media platforms!) made me feel quite fancy and the whole experience was like an evening in the past.Įasily put, Medieval Times is dinner and a show.
