MARP is a professional organization dedicated to promoting effective interdisciplinary rehabilitation, disability management, and return-to-work services and enhancing the competency of rehabilitation service providers. In September 2016, the European Central Bank (ECB) published its first stocktake on national supervisory practices and legal frameworks related to Non. Concurrently, MARP is in the working progress of forming its own college under the Academy of Medicine Malaysia.Minnesota Association of Rehabilitation Providers (MARP), the leading professional organization of qualified rehabilitation consultants (QRCs) and others who provide rehabilitation services in Minnesota. Since the year 2019, there are 7 SIGs so far under the society Neurorehabilitation SIG, Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation SIG, Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation SIG, Paediatric Rehabilitation SIG, Cardiac Rehabilitation SIG, Musculoskeletal, Pain & Regenerative Rehabilitation SIG, and Amputee Rehabilitation SIG. MARP strives to inculcate subspecialties among rehabilitation physicians fraternity in the country and encouraged the formation of SIGs (Special Interest Groups). MARP is one of the main collaborators in the virtual Malaysia Stroke Conference held on 14 th-16 th August 2020. Amid COVID-19 crises that hit the global at exponential rate, the society continues to support and promote the growth of professional development among its members. Assessment must be completed in the first week of admission. The society is chosen to host the upcoming 5 th Asia Oceania Conference of Neuro-Rehabilitation (AOCNR) 2023 as well as 9 th Asia-Oceanian Conference of Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine in 2024. Residential rehabilitation for adults: Prior to admission, the licensee must verify that the client is 18 years of age or older and that the residential rehabilitation services are appropriate for the client based upon a set of criteria included in the regulations. Marp desktop app, a simple Markdown presentation writer, already had stopped maintenance since 2017. A collaboration through LOI was signed between MARP and Fraunhofer IEM of Germany in 2018 followed by a MoU between MARP and Cochrane Rehabilitation in 2019. The publication of classic Marp app has ended. Since 2011 when MARP was formally established, the society has actively organised many local and international conferences including Annual Malaysian Rehabilitation Medicine Conference (AMRMC), 10 th ISPRM World Congress (2016), 12 th ASCoN Conference (2012) and 18 th ASCoN Conference (2019). The society continues to expand with almost 70 active members, currently affiliated with the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM) and soon to be affiliated with the World Federation of Neurorehabilitation (WFNR). The society supports professional development, advocacy programmes, and serves as the national society body to affiliated international organizations in the field of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine. Malaysian Association of Rehabilitation Physicians (MARP) is a professional organisation for doctors specialising in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Malaysia.
